Eye Surgery Aftercare.
In order to achieve the best possible results after these treatments, patients will be required to attend all aftercare appointments. Treatment includes personal aftercare and there is also a live available to call round the clock. Laser eye surgery requires great care and continuity after the procedure. LASIK aftercare appointments start on the day following treatment, a week afterwards and six to eight weeks later.

Laser Eye Surgery

LASIK (including Wavefront and IntraLase Femtosecond)

Epi-Lasek (including Wavefront)

In case of Epi-LASIK (Wavefront included) the bandage lenses must be removed three to four days after treatment at the clinic. The next appointment will be scheduled from seven to ten days after treatment and again six to eight weeks later. Patients who want further aftercare will be allowed to come to the clinic free of charge for the next year. A fee of £25 will be charged afterwards.

Implantable Contact Lenses

If you have got implantable contact lenses, you will be checked on the next day after treatment. You may be required to return a week later for the second eye to be treated. You will be expected to come every two years for an endothelial cell count test which costs £25/check.

Cataract Surgery

With cataract surgery, a check-up will be necessary on the day after surgery and a week later. Patients are likely to be prescribed eye drops to use every two hours for the first couple of days and four times a day for the rest of the week. Some may need to use these drops for two to four weeks.
